When life is difficult, it can be hard to unwind. If you feel unhappy or anxious this usually leads to a negative and preoccupied mind. I teach a meditation practice that is effortless and simple. It will enable you to find an oasis of calm within, that you can draw on when you feel overwhelmed.

There is scientific evidence now that shows how meditation helps the mind. It reduces the chemicals in the brain that are linked to stress, anxiety and depression, and it stimulates the parts associated with relaxation and pleasure. Meditation has also been shown to help the body deal with physical symptoms such as raised blood pressure, digestive problems, muscle tension and sleep disturbance.

Through meditation we learn to access a deep inner stillness; the rest and clarity this gives us helps to enhance energy, concentration and creativity, as well as promoting better relationships at home and at work.
